Volunteer Coach Assistant
For the 2025-2026 Season, our Volunteer Coach Assistants will assist with the Findlay Silver Blades group sessions for Group A. The Volunteer Coach Assistant Program is designed to:
  • provide our lead instructors with well-qualified assistants,
  • provide our students with additional help in learning new skills.
  • provide valuable training to those interested in learning to coach.
The Volunteer Coach Assistant Program is a skill progression program. Assistants must complete all the requirements of one level before they can be eligible for the next higher level. All assistants must be a minimum of 12 years of age and have passed Freeskate 4. Only full year members of Findlay Silver Blades FSC are eligible.

The attendance policy for the Volunteer Coach Assistant Program is:
  • The season does not count towards experience requirements after 5 absences.
  • Assisting privileges will be suspended after 6 absences.
